Dies Irae

NOTE: Please use an Xbox controller! This project is just a prototype, and only features Xbox controls for Tutorial sections. Playstation works too with the analogous buttons. Keyboard controls exist but are mostly for testing purposes. Use Left Joystick to navigate UI, and A (Xbox) to click buttons.

During the biblical apocalypse, Azrael, the death angel, has been tasked to collect the souls of all those live and dead to stand before judgement - including those of his angelic peers and finally himself. Instead, he denies judgement and enlists each and every earthly soul and beyond to forsake God and slay Him. And indeed, they do, at least... So it would seem. He calls out to you now, a complication in Azrael's plan - You are Dismus, a soul so pitiful and insignificant that you were simply beheaded and forgotten by Azrael. But now, you are the only soul with a connection to God, and He, weakened but beaming, answers your desperate prayers with a simple instruction: Destroy Azrael and anything in the way.
